Meet Star. She is around 2 years old, spayed, vacs and chipped and ready to find her perfect forever home. Star came in to BARK as a terrified puppy; she is an intelligent, sensitive dog and she has really come a long way in her time with us. She now walks nicely on the lead with our volunteers and is much braver than she used to be but will still need experienced, patient owners who will take things slowly with her so as not to overwhelm her. Star hasn’t seen much of the world outside our kennels but she has so much potential for the right people. She will enjoy training and nice long walks in quiet places. Star may live with another neutered male pooch pal following suitable introductions but she doesn’t cope well with dogs who bounce all over her and are ‘in your face’ types! Star would be best in a child free home. She has no experience of cats or small furries.
